HOUSEHOLD TIPS

~~QUIET DOG ID TAGS-Use the round key identifiers. They come in fun colors. May have to work at it a little. But they will go on.
~~Zip tie an old insulated winter glove on your outdoor faucet to keep pipes from freezing
~~Use an over-the-door vinyl shoe organizer in the bathroom!
It holds hairspray, handtowels-anything you want in a hurry!
~~Use travel size plastic bottles to carry condiments for your lunch
~~Get a small document holder to carry maps in your car
~~Armour All works great for cleaning purses
~~TO HANG PICS ON WALLS-Put a nail half way through one end of a wood yardstick-hang picture on nail-hold up to wall where you want it-push gently so nail in yardstick makes a mark on the wall. Put a nail where the mark is and you have a perfectly placed pic-NO MEASURING-NO EXTRA NAIL HOLES!!
~~Now look what you can do with Alka Seltzer........
Clean a toilet
Drop in two Alka Seltzer tablets, wait twenty minutes, brush and flush. The citric acid and effervescent action clean vitreous
THERMOS
Fill the bottle with water, drop in four Alka Seltzer tablets, and let soak for an hour (or longer, if necessary).

~~To easily remove burnt on food from your skillet , simply add a drop or two of dish soap and enough water to cover bottom of pan, and bring to A boil on stove top.
~~IF YOU USE DRYER SHEETS
First pull out your lint trap and run under faucet
and see if water runs through it!
If not-scrub with hot water and dishsoap with a brush. Now test it again! Quite a difference! This will reduce fire risk AND extend the life of your dryer!
~~COLD WEATHER TIPS~~
Do not go anywhere without those little air activated handwarmers sold for hunters in sporting goods stores!! Put them in coat pockets, pants pockets, gloves or even in a hat! They can last up to 8 hours. Make sure to keep some in your glovebox for emergencies!!
~~STORING JEWELRY~~
Use stackable ice cube trays. Store them in plastic boxes or a drawer. Easy to organize by style, color etc.
